Students in the J.O. Combs Unified School District enjoy a sequential, comprehensive, high-quality music education that includes courses in general music, band, choir, orchestra, and guitar.

Each member of the J.O.Combs music faculty meets or exceeds the educational and professional experience standards required to be considered “highly qualified” as defined by State and Federal guidelines.  Many of our music faculty possess advanced degrees in music education; our school district’s only National Board Certified Teacher is a member of our music faculty.

Middle school students may either begin or continue their instruction in band, choir, orchestra, and guitar in grades 6-8.
